On the way to work this morning I was adjusting the power seat when it stopped. I didn't check it out till I was about to head home 9 hours later. I went to the fuse box to see if I blew a fuse, but it doesn't appear to be a fuse. It plugs in like one but it is all metal, anyway it was so hot I couldn't even touch it. I yanked it out and set it on the floor. I haven't tried putting back in yet. Anyone ever have this problem.

Well this morning I plugged it back in and the seat worked for awhile. The seat stopped working and again the fuse got really hot.

Well, it sounds like that fuse is actually a circuit breaker. And it also sounds like there is some unusual load on the seat system. Perhaps one of the seat switches is stuck on.

might take a look around at the wiring and make sure nothing is obviously pinched or stripped and grounding... also possible the breaker is going out and not providing a resistance free route (causing heat)... dont know how much those are, or if the one for the seats is the same as the one for power door locks (seems like door locks is similar setup, atleast in quadcabs)
