After 12 years, my power seat is grumbling and grinding, and moving slow. Does this mean it needs a new motor? Can I replace just the motor, or do I need the full assembly? How hard is this to do?

It could mean the motors is working hard. Pull all the junk out from under the seat (if ur like me) and look at the jackscrews. Dirty, congealed grease, Fido's furry calling card (if ur like me). Cleaning and lubing the threads could be a quick and CHEAP fix!!!
