2015 Ram 2500 power, heated seat. heat works 0 power to the switch, where do I look after the fuse?
SnowpusherVT,
I had a problem with the power seat in my 2019. Seat heat worked fine but none of the power seat functions would work. The manual for the 2019 does not list a fuse in it for the power seat but the lid for one of the fuse panels did show that there was a fuse for each of the front power seats (special fuse that I had to get from dealer). Fuses normally don't just go out unless there is a problem (too much current causes them to heat up an open) so I unbolted the seat and pulled it out. The way they routed the wires when they put the seat together cause one of the wire bundles to rub on a relatively sharp edge and it rubed thru the insulation (and wiring harness sheath) and caused a short in the wires. I ended up cutting a section of the wires out and soldering in a new section for each wire that was damaged. Its been over a year and no problem since.

I hope that helps.

Bob

My issue is prior to that, some where between the brilliant DC only circuit breaker and the plug through the floor, unless I'm missing something. I replaced the CB with regular fuse for test purposes and had no power at the plug up through the floor. id love to find a wiring diagram or if someone knows if their is a module somewhere in the route or if its really as simple as fuse block to plug. Thank you much for the help!

so best as I could find out tonight the wire is broken some where between the fuse block and the plug, or some module in the middle, so I could adjust my seat for now I ran a wire from the battery to the plug and got it adjusted and disconnected it. so we shall see at a later date.
