I see from searching the posts that many have experienced problems with the power seat motors.
You would think there's enough potential buyers out there for an aftermarket company to make replacement motors, available individually. Anybody have any leads on that possibility?
How about taking the motor(s) to a qualified electric motor rebuild shop? Anybody tried that with any success or have any leads for a shop that wants our motor rebuilding business?
(FYI, as of June, 2010, Dodge's going price for the whole power seat rails, motor assembly is $630. 00 (retail)!!!! It's also available online from various Dodge dealer sources for around $450. 00 +/-. That's still a chunk of change just to adjust the damn seat!)
Thanks -
