Hello All,
I'm guessing others have had the power seat problem I'm having so I would like suggestions as to the preferred method (and maybe cheapest) way to fix the tilt feature on my 04 power seats. The center switch moves the seat back and forth OK but the front and rear switches do not move the seat at all. The motors seems to run but the seat does not tilt up or down as it should. I suspect there are some broken gears in the drive system and wonder what the best way to repair them is. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks--Ed Stadler

I did the rear on mine last year, I bought both front and rear motors complete and intended to change both but it ended up being so haphazard that I just replaced the one that had stripped the gears. (The parts from Genos are top notch) The complete motor is the way to go. I had trouble getting the roll pin (rolled up metal pin) back in. It is doable. bg
