Power Services Anti-gel

I was about to pour the remaining power service

anti-gel,the stuff in the white bottle,and for

some reason I looked into the bottle and to my

surprise:--) there was flakes of stuff floating

around on the bottom,and I don't mean just a few

but quite a bit. So needless to say I didn't use it. This bottle has always been sealed and kept in

my basement,so I don't know where the crap in the

bottom of the bottle came from??? If anyone else

is using this check you bottle before pouring it

in your tank. I usually use Howes but I picked this

up because it was on sale.

I have used tons of power service and never seen any floaters or gunk coming out of the bottle. I have no idea what could have been in yours.

I've seen the same crap in a bottle myself. It kinda looks like a dirty fish aquarium. . After reading the article in the latest TDR magazine, I think I'll be looking for a different additive.

I've noticed this in a few different additives when they sit after being opened. Some even warn to use in a certain amount of time after opening. What I found even scarier was finding a jug of Stanidine anti-gel frozen soild at 5°

best injector cleaner

i need to know... .

we have a massy fergason diesel tractor and i think the injectors are dirty. the tractor is starting to smoke (blue) alot more then before. it does it all the time: idling and under load. i used power service and marvel mystery fluid. any ideas why it is smoking? it hasn't lost any power and the outside temps are cool still. TIA . . james

Dave, the article is in the new issue of the TDR(issue #36) on page 24. . It is a very good article that shows the actual Cetane improvement using different additives...
