I'm in the middle of putting new brakes on the truck. New rotors, rebuilt calipers and a new right brake hose. Truck front is jacked up so that I can move the steering gear to get to the hub bolts. After moving the steering from full right to full left several times (engine off), about 4 oz. of power steering fluid burbed up thru the fill cap. My question is: Is this a problem? Has anyone had this happen to them? And is this a sign of impending failure?
I did this same steering movement last year when changing some ball joints, with no problem.
