Definatley not, after reading about on here, i used Valvoline "Semi-Synthetic" PSF and it works great, no more groaning and it feels smoother.

Thanks EMDDIESEL. The reason I ask is mine has started to groan a little, 57k. I'm going to check the level and wanted to have some on hand if needed.

Thanks again, Ron

Dittos to the Valvoline

I use the synthetic stuff from Valvoline. I used to occasionally feel a pop when turning sharply to the left, but not since the Valvoline has been in the pump

make it easy

get one of them turkey baster squirters and get all you can outa the resivoir then put the new in, do this 3 times and your all new.

Or do like I did the first time and pull the 2 hoses from the bottom and drain it all , put new in and go.

Dodge has a proceedure on it and it says pull the hoses and elevate the front wheels then move them right to left to do a total drain... . then refill. This is a PITA as you then have a hard time getting all the air outa the system... ... ... ... ... ..... Kevin:)

I just sued a suction gun and sucked all i good out of the resivior. Then refilled it with Valvoline. Works perfect
