I have a slow leak on the fluid out fitting at the pump. I have checked for tightness and have not been able to turn nthe fitting as it is tight. Wipe everyhting down and drive it around it barely leaks. Park it in the driveway and in about 3 days I have a silver dollor size powersteering fluid spot on the driveway.

Now, I am figuring that I will have to go to the dealer and pick up my free parts since we just gave them billions of dollars... Sorry, I am back. And get a new power steering hose. Just wanted to check and see if anyone had any other suggestions.

Depending on where the leak is coming from... the fitting going into the back of the pump uses an Oring to seal. You may only need a new Oring. Or it could be the return line. Or it could be the pump. Where is the leak coming from?

It is definately coming from the threaded hard line fitting.

O-ring replacement would be a cinch. I just figured it would be a flare fitting.

Can you confirm?
