Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Power steering noise

Hi guys,

My '99 3500 has noise coming from the power steering pump when I turn the wheel. It doesn't make noise when it is not under load, but gets noisy as I turn the steering wheel and I get a little feedback thru the steering wheel. Fluid level is good and doesn't smell burnt. Not metal or other particles in the fluid. Also, the brakes seem a bit stiff. Possibly the pump going out? Thank you for any help.

Sorry Guys! I posted this on the engine/trans side by mistake. Also, I found a long thread on how to fix this problem. I would remove this thread if I knew how. Sorry to waste your time.
