2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Power Steering Pump Again?

When I start my truck the brake pedal goes to the floor without me touching it. I let it idle for a while went out and the power steering pump was to hot to touch pedal was on the floor. Could some kind of check valve in the pump go bad and allow it to apply pressure to the pedal and draw it to the floor. I just replaced it with a reman about a month ago. And are you suppose to put power steering fluid in them or ATF.

Check THIS thread out. Your screen might be clogged, not letting the fluid circulate.
