I think I am out of warrantee on this 70,000 on my truck. Looks like the pump is leaking real bad from the top of the pump from what I can see. Is there a seal up there I can replace or what will it take for me to pull this thing. I don't have alot of down time here as I need to hit the road again. Are they rebuildable and do they sell kits or do I need to buy a new pump from the dealer ? Also, If I need to buy a new pump am I better off just having the dealer replace the pump or go elsewhere ?

yep you can re-seal them, its not to hard to do either. just swapping o rings and seals. my first recommmendation is to check your fluid level, if its to high you will over flow the tank when turning, Ive done it before it seemed like i blew a seal but it was just overfilled and came out of the cap. so clean it off real good drive it a lil bit and check again to see exactly where its coming from. hoses can leak at the crimp and the o ring that seals it to the pump. so there are a few places it can leak. clean and retest, if its the pump itself local parts stores have a reseal kit for pretty cheap.
