Power Steering Pump/Hose Question

I have a 93, and blew the "O" Ring on the P/S pressure line at the steering box. Replaced the o-ring, refilled the fluid and everything is working but.... the steering box, and the lines are getting REALLY hot to the touch. Is this normal? When you guys are just driving normally, can you put your hand on the box and lines without it almost burning ?

I've never noticed mine getting that hot ever.
