Is there a way to increase the power steering assist ? I have a 2001 2500 QC, LB. Currently the wheel takes more effort to turn than I would like it to. Is there an easy way to increase the amount of assistance you get from the power steering pump ?

Thanks in advance.

Found it, the bearing preload section is the one I was referring to. If it is too tight you may have the problem you describe. http://dodgeram.org/tech/tsb/1997/19-10-97/19_10_97.htm this is the link to the procedure.

As I think more about this it is an alignment problem. If you take it to an alignment shop or the dealer and have them check it out you will get this fixed. The alignment can cause an extremely heavy steering feel. I am not sure what part of the alignment it is but someone will pipe up with that info. Hope this helps.
