2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Power steering rack

Has anybody retrofitted the rack and pinion steering system from a 2003 2wd to a second gen 2wd? It would be nice to get rid of the saginaw system.

There was a guy on the nw bombers site that put together a 3rd gen steering system to fit a second gen ram. I don't remember his name but if I remember right it was about 2k but those who did it loved it.
