The power steering pump seal on my 98 12 valve just went out. I was told that I have to buy a whole new pump. Is it possible to just replace the seal? Does anyone know a part number of a seal that will work. The pump is still on the truck, it just happened.

I used to live in York. . Do you know Carl Bean? (Central Maine Power, Senior Lineman)? My friend Tom Warmington (Warminton Plub & Heating) Or Steve Hay a contractor in N. Berwick, ME? David Starkey (Starkey Ford)?

Robbins or Sas Sanel should hook you up, although it requires a trip to Portsmouth, NH

Has the red light on the Nubble light turned green yet? Ah come on your were a teenager once. . :)

If the shaft is grooved much it may leak again.

I offer a vac. pump repair kit if the vac. pump to ps pump leaks on reassy.

Or do a search for CPFF (john strenkowski. . down in CT), ie Tri County Machine. .

Now go to Newicks and have some scallops and cod for me tonight, darn I forgot, bean and hotdogs (its Sat. not Fri. ).

Good luck,

Andy

Thanks Andy, you must be talking about a different York. I live in York NE. I ended up just putting a whole reman pump on. The coupler was worn bad and for $85 I couldn't screw around to long fixing the old one.
