How to spot a

Fuel Futures

I have a freind who came over last night and changed his oil in a 2001 power stroke. His power steering fluid was a little low so we topped off and then when he was on his way home he was getting a pulsating feeling through his steering wheel when turning sharply and brake pedal when braking. He checked fluid when he got home and it was fine. I dont know what could be the problem. He was ragging on the old dodge quite a bit and that may have snuck up and bit him on the butt. Any help on what to check would be apreciated, thanks in advance

Take the steering wheel from stop to stop and back several times. It's easier if the front end is jacked up.

Sounds like there is some air in the lines that needs to be purged and that's the easiest way to do it. It wan't groaning or vibrating through the brake pedal?

Alan ,

That seemed to do the trick. I talked to him this morning and that is what he did and all seems well now. yhanks for the help.
