I have finally saved enough and I am ready to do some upgrading. I am thinking of putting in a 6 plate, 370's, a southbend OF or OFE clutch and an HX40 turbo. What kind of horsepower and torque will this accomplish and how will the EGT's be. Also i wonder if I need to put in bigger delivery valves.

If you buy a 6 you might as well buy a 5 ( caution with heat) or a 10 (better controllable heat). Along with the 370 include a 3gsk kit with that. Also check around on the turbo's there are many newer turbo's out like the b-1 bomber. Horsepower wise you should be into the upper 300's lower 400's on the rear wheels. As far as egts gauges are the only answer for this question and cheap. Bigger delivery valves are recomended also a call to piers technical line wouldnt hurt. . Have fun spending, you may also need another set of new rear tire because the set you have now wont last long after all these mods.

just to add a bit

i'd recomend doing the clutch first for one main reason

when your done with all your mods you wanna be able to play and not watch you rpm's shoot to max and still be doing 60 mph..... yeah ok this is experience talking but you learn as you go right

i'm running a dd jammer w/ 370's. New dv's on their way and 4k gsk kit and moving timing to 16 that outta make for a fun ride ohh yeah and the 8" stacks that are goin on tomorrow :--) hehe

man i love this site

Glade to see you waited till you could pay for the parts you want, smart move.

I would make a list of what you want your Dodge to do, and go from their. At the top of the list should be the gages, they run about 300 for the EGT,BOOST, and OIL PRESSURE with pod. The next thing on the list depends on the condition on the truck, if the clutch is week, then I would have it fixed. This is a large part of your budget, the price depends on what you want and who does the work. Most likely the end price will be 800+, but the truck and it's new HP are useless without a Stout clutch. Next I would opt for the Fuel Plate, and a new intake air system. This should give you a good boost in performance, and the parts will be compatible with any future mods. Once you are to this point, you will have more of an ideal on what it is that you and your truck needs. Good luck and have fun

brandon you have a 95 with 370s and a plate you will probably be just under 300hp in my opinion (and this is just an opinion) save the 250 bux on the delivery valves and buy the 3k gsk the delivery valves are a nice improvement but nothing compared to a gsk plus the delivery valves will really rocket up the pyro gauge, also depending where you want to go with the truck and power level you might want to hold off on that turbo also the stock turbo is good until about 400hp.
