Power upgrades-93

My friend just bought a 93. I think it has the 160 hp 420 tq. What can he do to up grade his power. Does he need gauges, exhaust? Thanks for the info. He plans to join the TDR soon.

Yes, the gauges and exhaust should probably come first, then he can move on to injectors, a different turbo housing, and getting the fuel pump set just right.

Don't tell you're buddy that the 160hp is "flywheel" HP... i dyno'd {when stock} at 124 horse rear wheel. I'm pushing 300 now. . we'll see after next weekend for sure. But yeah 1}exhaust

What kind of EGT's are you getting with the 12 cm2? How much boost?

I'd agree with the other fella's on the upgrades.

1) Gauges - Pyro,Tach,Boost (30psi min. )
2) Exhaust (I think 3" mandrel bent is good, 4" is perfect. )
3) Time Pump/Adjust
4) Injectors (they are 180HP marine application injectors for our year)
5) I suggest the 14cm wastegated housing. (I'd go that route next time instead of 16cm)
6) transmission temp guage if Auto trans.
7) DTT TC and VB kit. (I'm getting mine as soon as I can rob the sweety's purse)

Where can I get some 180 hp marine injectors and how much are they? I'v got him hooked up with the different venders for gauges. We have a muffler shop in town that does the 4" exhaust for $500. I'm not sure where to get the pump timed and adjusted. Any suggestions? We live in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
