I am trying to figure out in what order I should do power upgrades to my truck for towing purposes. I know I want to add 50 hp injectors and a programmer, so which should come first? I know this is a frequently asked question on this forum but which programmer would work the best with the injector upgrade and I was wondering if anyone has any feedback on the the hyperpac computer? with a full set of gauges is it important to have the in cab monitors available for most programmers? thanks for any suggestions that may help.

Whoa, that's a big complex question. You might want to start with a search first. You could spend many hours reading up on things.

Welcome aboard.

Thats the truth! I've been reading these forums daily for the better part of a year, and still find something new everyday. .

i think you should add a smarty or something to that effect first, then decide if you still want to deal withswapping injectors. There is alot available.

Smarty

TST

Edge Juice

Banks

Quadzilla

Scorpion

Diablosport

Superchips

On and on.

Injectors are'nt bad, but are expensive and can be a little daunting depending on which ones you go with. I don't think you'll need them. Besides, programmer + Injectors = new turbo!

thanks for the help. decided against the injectors and ordered the edge w/attitude for starts until I can do some transmission upgrades.

This is a smart move. Edge makes a good product and backs it up with great customer service. Since you tow also it is a great idea to bullet proof your trans first. ATS has a great torque converter and valve body combo that will let you lock up the TC in 2nd and 1st gears for using an Exhaust brake on down hills. Once you get it all dialed in with the Edge, you can add injectors and a turbo for the added fun and towing factor. Oo.
