Power Wagon Diesel in Diesel Power Mag

I guess I missed it - but why would they Swap the Cummins in and not simply take the Power Wagon stuff and add it to the regular pickup? I suppose there are so few power wagons around that it may be impossible to fond the components at a reasonable $$$$$

He had the powerwagon and found a cummins engine with trans from a totaled ram fell off the delivery truck.
