Power Wagon E-locker for CTD RAM from American Axle Manufacturing

Have been looking for an electric locker similar to the ones coming on the new Power Wagon. The American Axle Manufacturing web site seems to imply they are making or will soon make the E-lockers available for the third gen large axles used with the CTD. I have not been able to find a dealer who knows any thing or gotten an answer from American Axle. Anyone have some information?

I know AAM makes like 7 or 8 different differentials for these axles, but no one seems to be able to get or sell them that I have found. I want one too, but at $2500+ just for parts from Dodge, I don't want one that bad :{

When I ordered my '03, I intentionally did not get the optional limited slip rear because I intended to get a locker. Since then I've been looking and waiting. I saw the locker on AAM's website two years ago and contacted AAM. I was told they do not sell aftermarket. I got the impression some of the differentials on the website are design concepts and would only be built if some OEM orders a few thousand, or a few hundred thousands.



I've read a locker originally design for GM will fit our front differential, but our rear differs from the GM version, so the rear locker won't fit.



This year I may just have the front installed, and not get a rear locker until I buy my new '08.
