Power Window Mod

To operate the power windows with the door open and key off I used a Bosch relay with normally closed and a normally open terminals. When the door is shut power goes through the normally closed terminals to the window switch. When the door is opened the light switch triggers the relay and supplies power to the window control. It only works on the drivers side and the door has to be open before the relay trips.

I did the same thing but put the relay at the "fuses" in the panel on the left side of the dash. In my highline the "map" light comes on when the alarm is de-activated or doors have been opened. I slaved the relay from the left map light and both windows work.
