TAG- turbo air guide RESULTS???

Just a quick question. Should the green light be on at all with the key on. I only have a yellow and red on. According to the directions, it sounds as if it should be on dim. I realize it will probably come on when I start the engine, I just don't want to start it, till i know everything is cool.

Thanks

If I remember right, Power is red on when box is on.

Yellow is boost, always on.

Green is only noticeable when delivering extra power.

Thanks Justin,

I installed the box in the engine compartment, on top of the fuse box. I was able to check the LEDs with just the key on, and oday I'll check them with the truck at an idle, but it's obvious I wont be able to check them while going the the road. I'm sure everything is going to work great, I can't wait to try it.

Well, I took it out for a test drive, and everything seems to work good. The one thing I noticed, is that the fuel light on the remote, would not light up, until I would hit about 15lbs of boost. I only took it up to level 7. I thought it would start to fuel at about 2lbs.

Any thoughts?

The green light should only be on when the box is fueling. My instructions are out in my truck and they have trouble shooting tips. Shoot me back if you need help.

The yellow light should only come on when boosting, except the boost voltage used to be 1VDC and was changed to 1. 5 /vdc. I've been thinking about contacting TST about installinga resistor on that circuit to bring down the voltage to the box.

Mine seems to start fueling at 2psi and really kicks in at around 10.

I'm not totally for sure but you might want to contact TST about mounting the box in the engine compartment. I don't think the box is sealed like an Edge EZ, I seem to remember my instruction say not to mount it in the engine compartment. Like a said I'm not for sure but you might want to check on that to be on the safe side.

There is a slight delay in what the box reads and what get's to the remote I've also noticed that in my PM3 Comp.

Happy Fueling. :D

Darrel,

You are correct about the box not setup to be put in the engine compartment. I spoke with Mark today, and he verified it.

Thanks
