I have been useing Valvoline synpower power steering fluid on my 2001. I can't find it anymore and the valvoline web site does not show it. I guess they dropped it. What I need to know is what to use. I had problems with Chrysler fluid foaming and pukeing out the fill cover and changed to Valvoline its been OK for years. I need to change some fluid which I do every year with a turkey baster I just don't have much Valvoline left. Anyone know what is the best fluid to use.

Rich:confused:

Had the same problem and went to the Amsoil and it works fine for me. The only problem is the cost but guess that it is worth it. Just one was giving any problem but I am adding Amsoil to all.

How about?

How about red line synthetic local parts place has it about $10 a qt. . Thier web site says its compatable with reg. fluids and syn. fluids. Anyone with an idea about this?

Thanks for replies,

Rich

I use Valvoline ATF+4 in mine. I use the turkey baster method too.

I love amsoil power steering fluid.
After two years of that power steering squeel in cold temperatures I finally brought my own amsoil fluid to a shop and had them flush it out and replace the fluid.
Could not complain for 70$.
No more noise even in -40*C.
