Powerstroke convert (sort of)

I wasn't really looking for a new truck, but I called up Dave Smith's out in Idaho just out of curiosity. Once I was given a price I figured what the hell time for a change, $32,200. 00 out the door. 05 CTD 48RE SLT QC 4X4. I flew out picked it up and took the 4,000 mile trip back to virginia beach ( I took the long way) Had to break it in right. Any way this site had me paranoid. I was basically looking for a reason to not get it but nothing happened. I'm still undecided on the whole auto thing. No vibe, launch shudder, or clunking to speak of, I guess I got lucky for buying a truck site unseen without a test drive before hand. Time will tell.



I'm not getting rid of my powerstroke she's got 130,000 miles and still run's with the best of them. Yeah its loud, rattles and I leave oil puddles everywhere I go but its been very reliable.

Congrats on the new Dodge and KEEP that Ford! Use Ford to pull the trailer and BOMB the heck outta the Dodge and trailer it to the pulls!
