PPE boxes?

Does anyone on here have any comments about Pacific Performance Engineering (PPE) boxes? Do they leave codes? What hp/tq numbers are you putting down?

I played with one a little bit, it belonged to a friend. My brief experience was that they use a lot of timing advance, especially on the higher levels. Otherwise it seemed to work well and fueled hard to ~3400 rpm.

I know the duramax guys love their stuff, and their horsepower ratings that they use are fly wheel horsepower.

I have one on my truck and it runs real hard. But i want the on the fly adjustability so i am going with a tst.
