I am a newbie here and dont know away around my truck to well just yet; such as all the ports and hookups etc, but I'm learning none the less. I was lookin into the Practical Solutions high idle kit for my truck, but got nervous cause the hookups for it kinda resembled the hookups on the box I have, the tst powermax 3. I know I'm probably mistaking the two hookups for the same thing when they are not. To reasure me can I use the PS high idle kit along with my box (hooked up at the same time is all Im worried about)? Thanks, John.

I don't know about the TST box. If it has a TPS sensor hook-up it is probably like my Banks Ottomind. I have a PS high idler also (love it). I hooked them all up together. The Ottomind plugged into the TPS, the PS idler plugged into the unplugged end of the Ottomind then the factory loom to the TPS plugged into the open end of the idler. That way the TPS signal passed thru both the Ottomind and idler before it gets to the factory loom. Works great. Few things about the idler. One it will set a code but no CEL. (The ecu thinks the speed control sensor is malfunctioning sense the idle is up and no speed. ) Don't worry about it. Two: if you mistakenly turn on the idler and try to drive it, it will go into limp mode. Just don't apply to the throttle with the idler on. It will work as a low speed cruise control (Throttle). I've used this a few times in first and 2nd gear. I call it tractor mode. ;)
