how come??? Horton fan

I'm seriously thinking about a PS High idler for my truck( the high today is supposed to be 12). I was wondering if the set up would allow u to shut truck off, set idle speed and then restart at next start with a remote starter allowing remote start and high idle?

Anyone do this or have a PS and remote start that could try this to see if it works? It would not be a deal breaker if it didnt but would be nice. ANyone see any mechanical problems with this if it would work, ie; engine too fast too quick?

Thanks

I have a PS high idler sitting on the table, If from a friend 02.

He sold the truck so the high idler is for sale for $120. 00

Its used but it works perfect :)

J,

I have the PS high-idler, however not the remote start. I wouldn't reccomend that quick of a increase in RPM's, even if it was possible, which anything is. I usually let the engine idle at start up for a minute or so, before increasing the idle, just to let is smooth out, just IMO.

I love it But I wanted to work the exhaust brake against the higher idle but that doesn't work, so it is telling the ecm that the engine is not at idle. Not sure that turning it on before starting truck would work? Sorry can't help with that part.

Another question

If, and this is a big IF, I can find a Stealer that can actually get the TSB update for the cold weather idle done correctly ( had three try and still doesnt work) would the engine speed ramp up after the truck is started with the remote.

Main reasoning for asking these questions is that it would be great, at the end of a 12 hour work day, to drive past my truck in the lot, hit the start button, clock out and change outta my uniform and jump in the truck and go.

ANy questions, or other ideas as to how this could work let me know. ALso I havent gotten a remote start yet, does anyone know if there are any that could be set to increase engine speed?

Thanks again
