Eric-

Thanks for the info. Nice pics. I'll be installing my High Idler in the next day or so.

I've had a question regarding the heater saver that I have been thinking about for some time. Playing the devil's advocate, how do we know that it is a good idea to turn the heaters off at 70 degrees? I keep thinking that maybe it's a good idea to keep them on longer. Don't they improve combustion? And if so, doesn't this reduce cylinder washing/wear when the truck isn't fully warmed up? How about improving fuel mileage when the truck is still not fully warmed up? etc. ? Just been wondering. Anyone know the answer? Opinions?

Thanks,

Dave.

I have the System Saver. It relies on engine temp, not outside temp and I belive the figure is more like 125 degrees & above is when the heaters are not allowed to come on. Iv'e been using mine since new 2/01, no problems & faster cranking in the summer due to no electrical load when warm.
