After the two kdp attacks this past week on two fellow TDR'ers I couldn't put off any longer using the jig on the '96. With 257,xxx mi I was tempting fate. So, I did the jig and either the kdp had
1. not moved yet
2. hadn't moved too far yet
or 3. has already fallen out and didn't cause any damage.
At any rate I now have peace of mind!!! What little piece of it I have left anyway!
Now to jig the school bus built in early '99...
Anyone in Southern Indiana/Illinois want me to do the jig for you? Discount for TDR members.
BTW, has anyone ever ventured the idea that the jig could be Step 1 until you have sufficient time for Step 2 which is to pull the cover and loctite the bolts?
