What a waste of a good truck...

State Farm Ins Co. wont cover...

I'm planning on building a garage later this year. I've been poking around the web and locally for steel buildings. I'm favoring Steelbuilding.com at the moment. Anyone dealt with them or have another suggestion? The building will be 40'x80' with a 20' eave.

Kurt,

I have a 40' x 50' steel building that I had Mueller Supply build for me. A very good quality building that does not leak and has withstood 80+ MPH winds. My building was built with three 12' wide x 14' high insulated overhead doors, walk in door, insulation in the walls and roof. I have a 100,000 BTU heater in there on a thermostat... stays as warm as you want it. If I needed another building, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Mueller Supply has an offices/warehouses in cities all over Texas and there is one near you in Burleson on I-35W. The can engineer just about any kind of steel building you want. Their steel fabrication plants are in Amarillo and Ballinger, TX.

Here’s their web site: http://www.muellerinc.com/

If you have any questions, send me a PM.

Bill

PS I have no connection with Mueller Supply other than being a satisfied customer.

Kurt, Whatever you do or choose, be sure that they build per your county and city (if inside the city limits) codes. The differences between counties can be quite dramatic in what they require. Most reputable builders I believe, will make this part of their package. Good luck... ...
