Pre-filter Recommendations

Hey, got my BHAF from Baldwin PA2820 , hope this is

as good as Fleetguard . Any opinions on that ?



Anyways I'm thinking an Outerwear sock, suppose to repel

water, any body want to put there 2 cents in go for it !!

I know some guys use some old panty hose for a pre filter. Not exactly a water repellent but will keep the bigger stuff out.

I have an outterwears cover and so does my Dad (Jack in Alaska). They both work good. Make sure you ask for the water repelent one when you order as I think they have two different ones.



I do have two problems with mine now. One is that its dirty and looks like crap, but its red and the dust really shows. The other is that I have the BHAF sitting on the old airbox posts and they rubbed a couple of holes in the prefilter. Nothing I can't live with.

I have the yellow one and am going to sell it and get a black one. The dust really shows on the light colored socks.

My only complaint is that they are $40. 00 for nothing more than some reinforced panty hose
