Pre Formed Heater Hose.....

I had to cut my heater hose to get it off and it's a preformed hose that no dealer has in Portland - this waill take a couple of days. Now the drawing from the shop - sure doesn't look like my setup.....



Now my ??? - just like lawn irrigation - why doesn't somebody (or do they) make pieces that would allow you to use standard heater hose BUT have sharp curves - like elbows - 45's etc????

Auto Zone has some springs that go over heater hose so you can make tight bends without crimping the hose. They work well and are sized for the hose whether 5/8" or 3/4". Don't know if you have AZ out there but other parts houses should have this item.

I used to work in an automotive warehouse and I know for sure there are elbows like you're talking about available.

Try an Auto Value parts store and tell the counter guys what exactly you want. Gates makes them.

You should be able to decipher the part number to get the correct ID/OD.
