pre-oil

ok I should be starting the truck in the next week or so any Idea on pre-oiling the eng like you do on a gas eng the oil pump hooks directly to the crant so I cant spin the pump this wil be the first start since rebuild thanks George

Pull the 12 volt activation wire to the fuel shutoff solenoid on the back of the fuel pump. This will allow you to crank the starter for a few seconds without the truck firing. Put the wire back on, and start her up.



Just remeber not to crank to long... 15-20sec should do it. Starters build heat quickly.
