Pre-runner light bar

Anyone have a prerunner light bar on their truck? Looking for info. Smittybuilt makes one for the Dodge diesel, but I'm not sure if I care for the way it is mounted or how secure it will be. Help.

I love the lightbar from fierce offroad. I think that I had contacted them in the past and the lightbar will not work with my truck because of the innercooler and auxillary cooler which sits in front of the radiator. Anyone have this light bar on a 98 automatic?

That's what I was looking for too. I haven't seen one on a Dodge yet (other than custom made).

By looking at the pics, I don't think it will work on a Cummins. The intercooler looks like it would get in the way of mounting the unit.

Sounds good to me. I am definately interested in seeing one of these. Interested about the construction, diameter, if chrome is an option, how many light tabs, how it will be mounted, sturdiness, and of course the cost? Let me know. If you can, maybe you could email me a picture. Thanks.

John, there is a website for this guy www.rollcage.com although it is more in relation to the metalwork he can do. The best info you can get on this comes from an article in peterson's 4wheel and offroad mag oct/00 issue. i think it is 2inch 125/1000 tubing. as this is custom it can be configured any way you want. sorry no pictures. If you can find the article maybe you can post them for the rest of the board to help spur interest. I will look for the article myself tonight but have my doubts

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news buti have been interested in the fierce bar for a year now. They origionally said that they were going to work on a diesel wersion. Now they recently said that thy are not making these bar's at all(2 man opperation also running a retail store 12 hrs per day)the good news is that there is a small shop on the west coast that makes a custom bar however you want it. Have seen some pictures and they are way cool. I am considering having them do one for me and if you like it they can duplicate for you without them having your truck there for the fabrication. They are DT performance. Tim is the owner and a nice guy they can be reached @ 714-434-7004 if we can get enough interest from this board than we can do it. Let me know your thoughts

Both Fabtech (www.fabtechmotorsports.com) and Procomp make them for chevys. I have talked to both. If Fabtech saw enough demand they may start making them for the Dodge.
