I was just curious if anyone has used a ring and pinion set from Precision Gear. If so, what do you think of them? I just ordered a ring and pinion set for the W-350. The guy where I ordered it from said if the truck was turned up at all, then he would put in the Precision Gear parts over the OEM Dana parts. Just wondering if anyone had any experiences with this.

I've used them, twice . First time was on a chevy I lifted and needed 4. 56 rp front and rear. They installed nice and looked great. I had them for two or three years, and they worked fine. Second time was for a ford i lifted and needed the same thing, 4. 56 rp and they two have been trouble free, this have been in for 2 1/2 years.

case500 dont be afraid because my friend uses them in a chevy 14 bolt on a pulling truck with a 1000 horse through them. Iwill say the rear end isnt happy! The pinion support bearing breaking every 5-6 runs so a new rear is in the works. hope this helps jlight
