Has anyone else noticed how much lint and crap gets stuck all over the dark color premium cloth seats. . What a pain it is to get off too. I have to use a lint roller and it still doesn't get it all off. I really feel like a "tool" having to do this. Anyone have any suggestions?

Same problem here i was gonna pick up some seat covers from okle they are pricey but better than having crap all over the seats that can't be just wiped off.

The light color doesn't do this.

Wrap some tape (masking or duct) around your hand with the sticky side out and starting slapping the crap outta your seats. Picks up dog hair, lint, and whatever other critters you've got in there. :D

I found a green brillo pad pulls the dog hair from the seats and carpet. I alos hate how magnetic these seats are to hair and lint.

My fiance' has this big brick-sized block made out of a fairly soft and semi-sticky rubbery material... almost like a giant eraser. It's the only thing that works to get her 3 longhair cats' mess off the furniture, including her sofas which are similar fabric type to the cloth seats. The best part is, it never gets unsticky or wears out, and the fur just comes right off, and if it gets really dirty you can wash it in the sink... would be a great tool to keep in the glovebox if I didn't have leather seats!

Gonzo pet hair lifter

I did a 'google' on Gonzo sponge, and found it. We have use the brick sized sponge in several vehicles to get pet hair and more off.

It is called the Gonzo Pet Hair Lifter, and sells for about $5...

I thoroughly agree that they could have done a whole lot better for 'Premium Cloth'. . Gerry

Precisely the reason I went with leather. Piece of cake to clean/maintain. Just wipe 'em down occasionally with leather cleaner or conditioner, vacuum the carpet and you're done.

This is the second truck that I've had the premium cloth in, an found it wears very well. To clean dust and lint from them I just use an air hose.

Were did you get the leather for $619 shipped to you.

leatherseats.com

i saw them on ebay and bought them from there. i should get them at the end of next week. i will let you know what quality they are. they claim they are of better quality leather than the factory and offer 3years/36000miles warranty on them. they "said" they were overstocked on them and that is why they were trying to push them. here is the exact thing i bought. Ram Seats

I put those seats in my '99. I loved them. Great quality, looked awesome. They use more leather than the factory does, and better leather too. By the way, those are katzkin (sp?) seats that leatherseats.com sells. I thought about just ordering the cloth in the '05 and putting those in myself, but I wanted the Laramie for other reasons as well, but when the factory leather is shot, that's what I'm going to install.

i didn't want the laramie package b/c of the electronic 4x4 so i decided to go this route. glad to hear someone has had some success with them. i will take lots of pics and let you guys know what i think.

the only other place that i know of that sold the katzkin leather seats was autoleathers.com and they aren't even selling the sets for the 04's. plus they are about $150 more expensive the last time i checked.

I have the taupe color interior, and it doesn't show the dirt as much. Th doesn't mean it's not there, I just can't see it Oo.

Mine shows lint too, but one plus is that I never had seats that When I put a large bath towel on them it stays there. The towel doesn't really move much at all.
