Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Preparing a 12V Head Gasket for a 24 Valve

Putting on a . 020 over head gasket on the 24Valve. Only one available is the 12 valve. There are additional cooling holes that need to be drilled out. Any suggestion on the best way to do it. I want a nice clean install.

Call Piers, he has a jig to modify them.

When I did mine I drilled them out on a drill press, went very easy. If I remember there are 4 to drill out. I used a 24V gasket to get the sizes and as a guide to where I needed to drill.

You can take it to a metal shop and have them use a punch to make them exact. This works the best for the ones I have done.
