Starting to pimp out the new 2011 Megacab HO (2003 3500 SRW RIP due to interior fire).

I've seen what NFAB makes, does anyone else offer something? I could fab it but would rather do bolt on if i find something close enough. I know some people make a road armor style with one hoop welded on and consider it prerunner style, but not really what I'm looking for.

Anyone?

Its getting some.....

33" Maxxis 771's on Black Raceline wheel's Renegades (no lift, no rub and not to far off the stock gearing)

Front windows tinted

bed sprayed with linex

Bushwacker pocket flares, left black (white SLT)

Nfab nerf bars w steps

access bed cover

If someone had told me i could like a tow rig THAT much better than my old one I would've thought they were full of it. Mileage is the only concern and really i only care about towing mileage. That's all I use it for, diesel jetta for hauling groceries:)

Carli will make you an awesome prerunner bumper but it's $$$$$$, thuren and Patton fab are working on making frame horns that you could build a pre runner bumper out of

:-laf:-laf I started out with a light bar... ... ... ..... fairly strong design,'till I needed to use the hi lift on it. Yanked it off and had a stout Carli bumper built up.

Depends on how you will use the truck.

Well Bob, I appreciate the Props for Carli... . but at the same time know better than to use a hilift on a light bar:) Was there beer invloved?

I decided to spring for the Nfab light bar, it'll give me the look I want, offer a SLIGHT bit more protection to the grill and keep much of the original aero designed into the front. I may change my mind later and upgrade further, but this will work for now.

Rockcrawler, did you make that?

NFAB product, they also make a more stout prerunner bumper.

It's a nice piece, one weldment, 3/16 angled mounts sandwich behind the tow hooks. no drill install.

I would've expected these guys to use a mandrel bender though which they did not and the ends have press in plastic caps where I would've expected welded caps. That's my only whining. Stouter than i expected though still not worthy of the high lift jack. Will protect your grill quite a bit which would most likely have to crunch sheetmetal or the upper carcass of a deer etc. Bumpers will stil tend to hit bumpers.
