I bought one of those Motiv pressure bleeders a long time ago, but only got a chance to use it recently. I could not get the master cylinder adapter to stop leaking air so as to create enough pressure to bleed the system. Also, all the connectors on the hoses leak. And the pump leaks. I am blaming my long term storage warping the plastic.
What I ended up doing was changing out all of the connections to quick connect fittings and putting the master cylinder connectors back into the storage box. Once I changed the connectors, I installed an inlet and air pressure regulator to keep the pressure under 25 PSI.
To attach to the master cylinder, I used an old KD plate adapter that has two adjustable nipples on the bottom part that fit directly into the front and rear brake line inlets. The adapter is long discontinued, sadly. I bought it in 1979 to use with a steel pressure bleeder originally intended for use on La Salle automobiles given to me by a former mechanic. That bleeder, being steel (but in good shape), is opaque and really difficult to keep track of the remaining brake fluid volume. I still have it and it is still good.
I don't have any good images of the KD adapter. But if you find one in good shape, I think they are the absolute best for the type of master cylinders that the CTDs use up through at least 1996. Clicking on these thumbnails should enlarge them.
This is what the bottom of one looks like, "borrowed" from an eBay listing. The very important nipples are missing. And the bosses are not turned to accept the slip-on rubber nipples, so this is probably not the correct model.

This is what the adapter looks like, in a shrink wrap. It's stolen from an Amazon listing that shows it as unavailable. It looks complete, but I can't see the nipples inside it. They are critically important. But I am not certain of the model number. Note that the bosses are turned to accept the slip-on rubber nipples.
