Pressure lock?

Hey,

Looking at doing an upgrade to the stock auto transmission on a '99 CTD. I talked to some people who said I needed a pressure lock along with the new valve body. What exactly does the pressure lock do, and do I need it if I'm going with a brand new valve body?



This truck will also have a PE Comp on it.

Depends on who you have your trans mods done by. If you go by way of DTT than the valve body will provide you with more than enough pressures. I know very little about BD products so I couldn't tell you there.
