I saw the pressure test adapter in the TDR, I was wondering what pressure should be used for the test and should anything else be done before pressurizing the intake so no damage is caused to something else. Also I have 135,000 miles on my stock truck would it be worth the money to have someone clean and adjust the injectors Thanks Tom

Tom, not sure what you are trying to do with the pressure test. Your turbo puts out 20 PSI, I would think you could find a leak with half that. At 135k miles your injectors may be shot. Might consider replacing them. I would send them to industrial injection in Utah.

Some leaks will not show up till higher pressures are attained, best bet is to set test pressures at least as high as the vehicle will be run at.

I wouldn't go that high personally because even at 15psi if your test device blew off and hit you; you would be mamed. Use a soapy water solution at all suspected locations and stick with 10psi constant.

Then I would have to suggest you build a better test rig :-laf

Mine has a safety chain on it. I have gone to 50 psi to find leaks that would not show anywhere near 15 psi. ;)

I didnt feel I needed HEAR! the leak (50lbs?)even though you can at 15lbs hear a leak but with dish soap and a little water you'll find more than without it.
