That's a nice rig. I really like cart. With a 7 year warranty on the pump you can't go wrong. I've never used a Landa pump before. Obviously Honda has a great rep in the small engine class so it looks like a winner to me. That 30324 is way to much pump for me, how is the pricing on one of these. I've been thinking of building myself a pressure washer now for a while. I want a diesel fired heated one.

i personally will never get another gas powered pressure washer unless i can justify it by making use of it daily. if you are getting it just to wash your truck and house, it might not be worth it. you can't idle a gas pressure washer for long lengths of time with no flow through the hose. the pump overheats. if you let it stand for a while, the carb can bugger up with the varnish and when you need it, you can't get the thing started. electric ones can work just as well as long as you have a big enough motor to keep the pump turning.

We have an electric Landa at the wash rack, and that thing works GOOD! You have to watch out for radiator or condensor fins cause it will bend them even with the 45* tip.

3000 Psi  I wouldn't get that near the truck. Thats plenty to blast its way past oil seals, electrical connectors and such. Looks like a nice unit though.

I like electrics and have had my eye on this one although thanks to that link you posted the PE3 looks more like my speed and probably better quality.

2. 0 gpm @ 1500 psi -or- 2. 8 gpm @ 1000 psi, if its like a parts washer the higher gpm wins over pressure.

Adjusting pressure is a no-no.....

I was at the Landa plant - (1/2 mile from my home) and they told me that while their is an adjustment for pressure - it is not recommended..... you should just hold the wand back further. Apparently it will effect the life of the components.

Nick has a great point about all gas engines - you can't get around this issue - only try and stabilize the fuel. The only reason I'd get a gas one is so I could give it to my kids to use..... the electrics are 220 and none of my kids have a 230 plug - well I guess their is the dryer plug if the same... ... .

The landa has a built in blow off for pressure that will dump water when it gets to 140 degrees - but that will wear out as well if used a lot... ..... just like everything else - no simple solution... ... .

I use a Honda powered Cat pump pressure washer. 4. 5 HP. Use it on the bikes and truck. Very portable and starts EVERY time. If I need more cleaning power, I'll just have it sand blasted.

For what

We have a Hotsy at work. Hot water makes all the diff when you have a lot of grease and oil to deal with, or need to cut through paint and such. This sucker puts out 3000# and heats to steam if needed, 250' is plenty hot. Pressure can be turned down, nozzles can be changed, and temp is adjustable. One of my coworkers peeled the paint on one of our new Fords, he also wet down some costly electronic components on a loading facility!

Do not give high powered anything to idiots... :D

we got one of them at work too... it does work great. the only thing about it that scares me is when the one cleaner used it to clean the hotsy unit it self... we have it on 550v and he was powerwashing it to clean it got water in the kero tank and on the motor... i am glad he retired. the shop has never been cleaner [all he did was move dirt around with it... ]
