Price Check for bearings and u-joints

Anyone have a ball park figure on what I could expect to pay for both front wheel bearings and front u-joints for a 2004 3rd generation 3500 Ram Dually?

Welcome to TDR, I think you can get a quality bearing for about $250 each and about $65 per u-joint. If you are wanting a ballpark for labor I would estimate 6-8 hours since it has wheel spacers. Be sure to check the condition of ball joints and brake components while your going to be there.

you might consider using or at least checking a company called rockauto.com... you'll find parts that are available from several different manufactures... if you search hard... you'll find some really great prices...

Thanks, I may just do that although I may be able to get some of the parts from the dealer. I still have 30K miles left on warranty. I don't like the idea of installing OEM instead of greasable but it is what it is. Thanks for the reply.

Geez... if you are still covered by warranty on your truck... by all means go and let the dealer do the work... Lets see... NE OR, Hermiston, Pendleton, La Grande, Baker?

I paid $160 each for Timken front bearing units. StockWiseAuto. Looks like they are around $185 now.
