I think I have been persuaded to buy a K&N air filter. Any suggestions where the best price online or mailorder is from??

1995 2500 auto 66k stock, gauges arrived but no pillar post yet!!

Hey Milto!

I have a new K&N #33-2056 in the box that I bought off of Ebay for a friend who had a 1996 CTD but he traded for a new Ford Powerstroke and does not need it. It fits 1994 thru 2001 Ctd's.

If you are interested send me an Email and I will give you the particulars. I got it for a decent price and can save someone a few bucks.

By the way, I am not a dealer, just an individual with a part I have no use for.

Two K&N filters

I have two K&N filters that fit the stock filter box that I have no use for anymore. They have both been used for 20k-30k miles. I have decided to stick with the fleetguard paper filter. Any decent offer will be accepted if you pay the shipping. I never noticed any problem with these filters, I just decided I didn't need them and did not want to take any additional risk. I don't race my trucks!

Later,

Tim

Before you buy a K& N air filter, you should check out a filter that is starting to get a lot of use by us TDR members. The NAPA part # is 2790, and Fleetguard # is AH19037. This filter replaces the whole filter box. It has more filtering surface, and Big Daddy tested it on the dyno and gained 2 horsepower. I saw some pictures on here somewhere, but don't remember where. The cost at my local NAPA is $47. 00.
