Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) price of a new boost sensor $$$$

Just called the dealer this morning to get a price on a boost sensor. The parts lady told me that it has been updated to a newer style and the cost is $208 plus you need the $35 adapter harness. Called Cummins and they want $78. Anyone know better place to get one of these?

Didn't know 02's had a boost sensor. I thought that was reserved for 04. 5 and up. Is that the sensor that screws into the turbo housing?

You talking bout the M. A. P other wise known as boost pressure sensor that mounts just behind the fuel filter housing? If so I got one a few years back at the Dodge house for $80 no harness needed.

I bought a brand new map sensor in cummins box on ebay for $10. I had to buy it when I saw it selling so cheap... . spare parts are good to have. You may want to check ebay.
