Cummins recommendations for improved MPG

Was filling up with B100 today, and my supplier informed me that with the passage of House Bill 4250 , that BIO was given a tax break and we will be seeing a price REDUCTION!!!!! :)

He also stated they would be changing the retail pump from B5 to B20 due to the price break

Well if they want to stimulate this kind of alternate fuel this is a good start. I still think they need to do more……. .

We are paying 2. 93 gal for ASTM tested Soy based B100. None of the backyard chemistry set stuff for me. I am "told" to expect $. 90-1. 00 drop per gallon on Jan 1

I paid $3/gal a few weeks ago. The tax break is not on b100, its for on road blends sold at the pump like b20. It will be up to 20cents off, 1 cent per percent of blend - b2 is 2 cents off...

I'm glad you guys have it local to try, the closest place to me is D/FW. If I could get it at the pump I'd try different blends... ... heck I would dyno different blends.

Anyone can get B-100 to there door, problem is the price, those folks shipping it 5 gals at a time are racking in the $$$$.

The most fair place I've found is www.virginiabiodiesel.com but the kicker is the shipping.
