Got a bud looking at trading in his Powerstroke 99. 5 model, for a 3/4 ton H. O. 6 Speed,4x4, 4 door short bed, Patriot Blue but I'm not sure about the interior color. I'm not up on these at all so I'm asking you guys what kind of price range is to be expected. This is in Oklahoma City area and truck prices are know to be a little higher, any input would be appreciated.

Jim, have him call 1-800-bossier and ask for deanna (they are near dallas)... they will email a quote at invoice.

He can also put in a request for a quote at www.bennyboyd.com, they usually quote at invoice also.

He should expect at least or better trade in value as allowed by Kelly Blue Book www.kbb.com value and a new vehicle for dealer invoice, then minus rebates. There is a dealer in Oklahoma who advertises vehicles at dealer cost in Trailer Life. Don't know anything else about them.

Jim,

Mark Roberts Motors, Barttlesville, Oklahoma, 1-800-375-5377 (1-800-375-LESS).

They are selling units in stock or special orders at $316 UNDER INVOICE. (www.markroberts.com)

PLUS they get a $440 "regional rebate" off the Invoice Price that they pass on to you (which about cancels the advertising fees all Invoices have that are not shown on KELLY, EDMUNDS, MSN, ect invoice guides).

PLUS Dodge is offering a $1000 rebate on all 2500/3500 trucks.

If you order during the rebate run you get the rebate even if you take delivery after the rebate expires. If a more favorable rebate is in force when you take delivery you get that rebate-you can't lose.

Buy a Dodge and buy in Bartlesville.

Talk to Adrian at Mark Roberts Motors.

In any case, there is NO reason AT ALL to pay more than invoice (plus tax, doc fees, etc. of course) for ANY truck-don't let a haggler talk you into it!

Forgot about them... yeah, if u live in OK, you really can't beat markroberts. If he is going to trade, have him put an ad in the TDR classifieds... sold my truck in 10 days (for about 4 grand more than I was going to get trading it in).

I see them advertised for 6-7 k off of posted price. It looks like they are trying hard to sell them around the Houston area.
