I've got a friend who has a son that is wanting a Cummins. He found a '94 4x4, 5spd, LWB, single cab with 175,000 miles and is in excellent shape. The guy selling it probably just put $800/$1000 in wheels/tires on the thing (stickers still on tires).

I asked him if it smoked and he said it didn't, so I can only assume it's still stock and hasn't had the guts run out of it.

Does $10,900. 00 sound reasonable? TIA

I just looked it up on KBB. I rated it as excellent and the value was $6600. I think $10,900 is pretty high unless the truck is perfect. I paid $13,000 for my '01 HO 2wd QC about 6 months ago.

Holy crap you got a good deal!!! I won't say what I paid for mine... all I know is it was worth it to me, and I would do it again. okay okay, I paid $25k for mine in March last year. And I wouldn't let it go for $40k right now! I love this truck!

IMO I think that truck should go for somewhere around $10k. KBB does not do the cummins justice. You have to add about $4k to KBB for the cummins, because for some reason, they don't think it's worth anything. I say go for it!

I would try www.nada.com

it should tell you exactly what it is worth.

I did the NADA before I posted this, it said $7,700 to $10,200, but it gave no option for region in the calculation ... ... ... ... . I thought it used to

Anyway, I figured I could get a good cross section of what guys here are actually paying or getting.

Thanks again!
